• 2005-06? – Stephen Colbert provides the voice of Ace in the Ambiguously Gay Duo movie.

• Fall 2005 – Premiere of the Strangers With Candy movie.

• 7/8/05 – Premiere of Bewitched, which stars Will Ferrell, Nicole Kidman, Michael Caine, and Shirley MacLaine. The film also features our Amy Sedaris as Gladys Kravitz, Richard Kind as her husband Abner, Stephen Colbert as the head writer of the TV-show-within-a-movie, and Ken Hudson Campbell as one of the show’s writers.

• April-June 2005 — Olivia Oguma (the Strangers With Candy movie) appears in the 2004 Weissberger Award-winning play BFE by Julia Cho at the Long Wharf Theater in New Haven, CT, 4/13-5/1/05; and then Off-Broadway at Playwrights Horizons, 5/19-6/12/05.

• 2/8/05 – Stephen Colbert appears on the late late-night NBC gabfest “Last Call with Carson Daly” at 1:30am EST.

• 2/1/05 – You can buy an authentic Amy Sedaris Li’l Smokey Cheese Ball at all Gourmet Garage locations in New York City.

• 1/31/05 – Amy Sedaris begins a two-week hosting gig, along with Dr. Ian Kerner, for Sex, Love, and Lies on the LIFETIME network. Check your local listings.

• 1/24/05 – The Strangers With Candy movie premieres at the Sundance Film Festival in competition as part of the Park City at Midnight category. I will write a full Sundance diary and film review as soon as I have a few free moments.

• February 2005 – Amy Sedaris and Sir Ian Holm (Dr. Putney) appear in GIANT magazine, and Chris Carmack (Laird) appears on the cover of the latest issue of OUT magazine and is pictured inside in a swimsuit feature.

• 1/19/05 – “Point Pleasant”, which stars Elisabeth Harnois (Jerri’s nemesis Monica in the Strangers With Candy movie) premieres on FOX at 9:00pm.

• 1/16/05 – Andy Richter appears on “Arrested Development” in scenes with fellow SWC alum David Cross.

• 1/14/05 – Amy Sedaris appears on “The Late Show with David Letterman” to discuss her hosting duties on the TRIO network’s Film Fanatic series.

• 1/12-1/29/05 — Maria Thayer (Tammi Littlenut) and Kelly Hutchinson (Sylvia) will appear in Michael Barakiva’s new adaptation of Chekhov’s The Seagull at the Blue Heron Arts Center, 123 East 24th St., New York.  For reservations, call 212.818.9431, and for more info, visit www.roundtableensemble.org.
